Spring Skies Over Jackson

                                           Sunday - March 27, 2011  (12:00 - 4:00 PM)

On Sunday, March 27, Mark Reed will present his annual Spring Skies Over Jackson from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at the Hurst Planetarium.  Eight presentations are planned in conjunction with Ella Sharp Museum's Sugar and Shearing Event.  Mark's "free" 20 minute program will  highlight some of the stars and constellations that can be seen this spring.  During any star talk, Mark usually mixes in some sky trivia and science to hopefully help people appreciate both the beauty and the elegance of our universe.  Sessions are repeated every half-hour with the last one starting at 3:30 pm.

Even though Spring Skies Over Jackson is free, donations are greatly appreciated and are used toward the operation of the the planetarium and to cover costs associated with distributing our electronic newsletter. This show can also be booked for groups of 20 or more paid participants by contacting Mark Reed at 517-841-3860. Please see the schedule for our show times.
